Polo is known for its classy style and is supposed to be played by true gentleman. Is this fair? What about women? Around the world we find loads and loads of polo fans that happen to be women. However, the amount of female teams in polo is extremely low. Why is this? Besides the fact that it is indeed an aggressive and demanding sport, playing polo requires certain characteristcs and conditions that are somewhat difficult to meet. Nevertheless I believe women should be taken more seriously and should be considered potential material. Personally, I would love to be a part of a feminine team but I have found it very, very difficult to find or even create one. Be sure I'll update you on how that goes... in the meantime, just try to pay more attention whenever you catch a woman playing, I'm sure you'll be surprised by how well we can actually do. ;)
Great start Laura! I'd like to see it up to date.
